Job position

Reporting to the General Manager, he/she will have to:

  • Support the general manager and represent him when necessary.
  • Control the daily running of the department, ensuring that all contracts are transacted in linewith Company Policy.
  • Develop performance evaluation procedures.
  • Review operational procedures monthly for potential improvements in processes.
  • Ensure all operational activities are compliant with customs regulations.
  • Ensure quotations are provided in timely manner.
  • Attend, when requested, management meetings in addition to meetings with suppliers andcustomers.
  • Staff training and personal development.
  • Act as first line support regarding customer issues and escalated queries.

The candidate

Perfectly fluent in English, the candidate should have a cross over experience: A strong security culture and/or military experience is welcome.  He/she should have at least 10 years of experience within an international group, ideally foreign … His/her sense of initiative and relevance will allow him/her to advise the General Manager on keyissues.  He/she shall show real intelligence: common sense, ability to react, availability.  He/she shallbring to the company expertise in performance management, and in social relationships management. He/she should have an acute knowledge of Morocco: he must understand the culture, the socialenvironment, local labour law to succeed in this position. His/her management role is essential. Endowed with natural authority, he/she must structure orimprove the work organization.  He/she has to maintain a good social climate by promoting the idea ofcommitment and teamwork.  Furthermore, he shall have a deep understanding of human management,being able to bring the best from his co-workers, according to the sentence: “Tough on issues, soft onpeople”.
